Supposedly, according to Richard Carrier and other Jesus Mythicists, way back in the Mediterranean world, a Jewish sect, copied various religions, cults, and Greek myths to formulate an early rendering of Christianity. Carrier espouses that these zealot Jews were heavily influenced by Hellenistic teachings and pagan practices. But is that all true? Is Christianity nothing but a copycat religion?
